"The story of Mary, Joseph and Jesus has always been considered one of the most sacred stories of the Bible," said TJ Hemphill, also the creator of "Perilous Times" and "The Return of Mr. Scrooge". "Joseph's role has remained a subtle untold mystery. I want to explore the difficult thoughts, decisions, and experiences he may have faced as the fiance' of a lady pregnant with a child who is not biologically his."
The production will also feature the Voices of Tabernacle Choir and the Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra. Music will be directed by Bill Moss, Jr. and orchestrated by world-renowned producer Lari Goss. Its a unique presentation that family and friends will want to experience together, said Dr. James L. Morman, pastor of Christian Tabernacle Church. "It is a signature blend of humor, with a meaningful message combined with inspirational holiday music that will make this production a wonderful way to keep us mindful of the true meaning of the season," said Dr. Morman.
