ARCHIVES OF PRAISE
To praise is to give thanks to God for things little and small.
He is the creator of them all.
He gave us life that we may become a great light,
Shining greater than bright.
When our light shines, Jesus Christ gets the glory.
In the midst of a world of darkness and gore,
Faithfulness to Jesus Christ, and proclaiming the Word of God will restore.
All glory and praise is due God.
As we move up the stairway of praise, we open the gateway to experiencing
greater spiritual heights in His presence, which opens our hearts to
receive knowledge, wisdom, and revelation.
Enter into the archives of praise through the gateway.

ANCHOR OF HOPE
God is our hope.
So don’t be downtrodden like a dope.
Hold your head up high,
Like an eagle in the sky.
The directions of an eagle are four.
Spread your wings of faith and soar.
Soar to heights thought unreachable by your mind,
And greater understanding and revelation of the Word of God you will
find.
Love, joy, and peace will dwell,
And move you on the path of righteousness well.

REMEMBERING
MY FIRST LOVE
Jesus Christ is my first love.
I love Him because He first loved me.
He has been a true and faithful friend,
Since I accepted him as my Lord and Savior.
He is always there,
And never leaves me with burdens I cannot bear.
He leads and walks with me,
So I can spiritually see.
He comforts and talks with me along life’s stony road,
Which helps me press toward the finish line – my heavenly abode.
What an honor to experience His awesome glory.
His Word is the most beautiful life story.
I’ve got to keep pressing, pressing my way,
For Jesus Christ is my first love everyday.

Charge It
To My Account
Mother, you carried the weight of the world on your shoulders. You
were so strong and steadfast. Sacrificing much of your happiness to
assure a better life for the children you loved so deeply. I never gave
up because you pushed me to be a winner. I've become strong because
you never let me give into my weaknesses. I have learned to build on
my strengths and strive to improve my faults because you would accept
no less. I will not forget the lessons you taught because you loved
me enough to be my teacher. I am, because you are, what I hope to be,
the epitome of motherhood. I can now credit my charge accounts because
of what you have instilled in me.
Because of you mother and your belief in me, I threw away the card
that labeled me unattractive according to society's definition of beauty.
I replace that card with a positive self-worth account and charged it
to the limit. I walk with my head held high and my back straight with
two-inch heels as the curve of my hips and the depths of my thighs accessorize
my inner beauty.
I cut up my non-believers card and charged the balance to my faith
account to guide me through my order of priority: God, family; God,
employment; God, church; God, friends; God. I have become the creator
of my own destiny. I will not surrender my mind to the temptations of
greed, dishonesty and selfishness.
You created the past, which gave me credit for the present. My future
was paid for in advance through your love and encouragement and the
death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Finally mother, I closed out my fear account and opened five accounts
worth one million in courage. You have always been by my side, in the
shadows. Watching! Waiting! Praying! Crying. Hoping that all your hard
work would someday pay off. Watch no more mother, wait not another second,
relax your tired hands and allow me to wipe the tears from your eyes.
Thank you for giving me the courage to love and to be loved. And mother,
if there are any charges I neglected to purchase, please, charge it
to the account of my head and not my heart.

Mommy I Love You
Mommy? Yes dear. Do I have to go to school today? Are you sick? No.
Is there something wrong at school? No. Then why don't you want to go
to school? Because I'm still sleepy. Oh! In that case, yes, you do have
to go to school. But why? Because education is the road to your independence.
Mommy? Yes sweetheart. Do I have to go to bed? Yes. But why, I'm not
sleepy. Because you need your sleep so that you can grow big and strong.
Mommy? Yes hone. Do I have to go to my room, I won't do it again. Yes
you do. But why? I didn't color the whole wall. Because you have to
learn that the decisions you make have consequences.
Mommy? Yes. Can I have some candy? no, not right now. Why? Because
I'm your mother and I said no.
Mommy? WHAT. I love you.
