A SPECIAL LETTER FROM BUNNY DEBARGE...Hi,
This is Bunny De Barge. First of all, I would like to start out by saying I love you guys' site and what you are doing for the gospel industries. If you don't recognize the name, I am out of the Family group De Barge which consisted of El, James, Randy, Mark and Bunny De Barge on Motown record in the 80's.
For all the fans out there who know of me and my family, we started out here in Detroit MI, in the church, moving on to Grand Rapids, MI, with our Uncle Bishop Abney at Bethel Pentecostal church. Gospel has always been our first love. Since the group disbanded, we have all gone our separate ways, doing different things, working different projects.
As for myself, I am involved in writing a book about my life, including the ups and down and the music business. I will talk about the abuse I went through as a child, my drug abuses, the death of my brother, Bobby De Barge, from AIDs, and my life as a recording artist with Motown. I am also giving my testimony at different churches that I am asked, by invitation, to come and speak. I also have done a CD here in Grand Rapids of that testimony, and will be, in the near future, recording my own Gospel CD.
This is just a little note to let my fans know that I am still here and being kept by My Heavenly Father, whom I give all the glory and praise, and to let every one know that they can look for me in the near future.
