FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RON WINANS FAMILY & FRIENDS 5

RELEASING JANUARY 31, 2005

1/20/05
NASHVILLE, TENN. – The long awaited Ron Winans Family & Friends 5; A Celebration is releasing nationwide on January 31, 2005 through a partnership between Entheos Records and Central South Distribution in both audio (CD) and video (DVD) formats.

“I have been waiting,” offers Winans, “for the right opportunity to share my testimony of the goodness of God through music. The songs on Family & Friends 5 are my testimony. I hope this project touches those that listen and reminds them just how precious life is.”

The brand of choral worship that is Family & Friends continues with Volume 5. It features Gospel greats such as Marvin Winans, Gladys Knight, Jessie Cambell, BeBe & CeCe Winans, The Katinas, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Gwen Morton and, of course, Ron Winans himself. “I Shall Not Die” is a testimony of God’s intervention in the life of Ron Winans. In 1997, the doctors told Winans that he probably wouldn’t live, much less sing again. After many prayers and a miraculous healing from God, Winans is now celebrating the life he’s living. The project was produced by Doreonne Stramler, CEO/President of Entheos, in Detroit, Mich. While recording Family & Friends 5, they simultaneously filmed a DVD, which releases January 31, 2005 along with the CD.

“The Family & Friends collection has always set the standard in Gospel worship,” shares Stramler, CEO/President of Entheos, “and Volume 5 takes it to the next level.”

Entheos, a Detroit-based record label with a distinctive brand of soul, was founded by renowned Gospel producer Doreonne Stramler. The debut releases, Ron Winans Family & Friends 5 and Expectancy from Jacky Clark Chisholm, hit stores nationwide in early 2005.
Central South Distribution was started nearly 34 years ago by Randy Davidson, Chuck Adams and J.P. Bennett as a music wholesale company.
