Tyscot recording artist, Vashawn Mitchell, celebrated the release of his new CD “Believe In Your Dreams” at the Upper Room in Detroit. Vashawn is known for writing such gospel hit songs has “What’s To Come Is Better Than What’s Been,” “It’s Only A Test”, “Don’t Last,” and “My Worship Is For Real.” His songs have been recorded by Bishop Larry Trotter, Derrick Milan, Michael Fletcher, and the GMWA Mass Choir.

Vashawn performed several selections from the release, including the hit single “Where The Praises Are,” along with “No Way,” “Dreams,” “Grace and Mercy,” “Provider,” and “Lost In Your Presence.”

In attendance at the release party were Michael Fletcher, Darius Twyman and Detroit Gospel.com’s own Carl B. Phillips.
