We are so glad that you stopped by...
The idea for Detroit Gospel.com was given by inspiration to a Detroit-based couple, Keith and Mary Lynne Crosby. The Crosbys were each born and raised in Detroit and have a great love for the city, gospel music, and for God.
The Crosbys felt led to use their computer technology and evangelistic backgrounds to pursue their interests in web design and gospel music, while benefiting the body of Christ. This online gospel entertainment resource is the result of that desire. It is the Crosbys' hope that this site will be a blessing to gospel lovers in metro Detroit and throughout the world.

He produced a show, "Battle of the Poets," at one of downtown Detroit’s premiere theatres, the Masonic Temple, with “COCO” the comedienne as the Host who said, “This gentleman has brought integrity to the industry”. Anthony would love to produce two of several projects he has in the works, one being a gospel soap opera called “Citizens of Heaven” and a screenplay “To Gain The Whole World,” which he has been shopping to TV-ONE cable network and BET. His extensive meetings in Maryland with the CEO and VP of Marketing, respectively, were very encouraging.

Currently, Conway works as an engineer at WMUZ (103.5 FM, 1340 AM, and 560 AM) and attends Greater Grace Temple (O.G. Hayes Memorial) in Taylor, MI, where his pastor is Suffragan Bishop Gary Harper. Conway serves in his home church as a youth minister, assistant to the Youth Chairman, and President of the Youth Choir. Conway tells us, "I've been saved for almost seven years, and having grown up with the explosion of secular hip-hop, I understand how much of an impact that hip-hop can have in contemporary gospel music. I believe that urban and hip-hop gospel music has as much of an impact, if not more, on today's generation of believers and potential believers as traditional gospel music." You can see why we at Detroit Gospel.com are so pleased to have Conway on our staff as our resident, Urban / Hip-Hop Gospel writer. Most recently Conway has taken on assistant editor duties (for which the editor is extremelly grateful).
