Sonnie Day The “Good Life” CD Release Party

The “Good Life” CD Release Party opened with an urban, glitzy runway fashion show, by young fashion designer, Tiffany Graves. Immediately following the fashion show, a very stylish Sonnie Day, known for her signature Fedoras, stepped onto the stage wearing an ultra chic hat trimmed in satin that matched her ultra chic outfit. Sonnie Day and her live band kicked off the CD Release Party with the up tempo, praise & worship song, “Today.” Sonnie Day and her band kept the audience gasping for air, clapping their hands, and tapping their feet, on every song. Sonnie Day did not let the audience down, as guest artists proceeded to join her on stage. Pastor Mitchell C. Welch, the Pastor of Christian ROAD Church sung with her on, “It’s A Good Day.” Next, she introduced new artist, Gregory Davis Jr, as they sang, “The One,” a wedding song. The night continued with Sonnie Day singing, “Move On, The Response,” joined by Spirit of David of the Gideon Crew, a song of strength for women. As the CD Release Party drew close to the end, Sonnie sang the national single, “You,” a song about how God is always there for you, and the CD’s signature song, “Good Life.” When she began singing “Good Life,” a celebration song about living a positive life, several members of the audience joined her on stage, and began to step with her. The audience did not want her to stop stepping and singing. The “Good Life” CD has a strong message that inspires and ministers to the heart, spirit and soul of everyone.
