Memorial Tribute: Herbert Pickard

The family of legendary musical prodigy, songwriter, pianist, organist, director, arranger, and native Detroiter Herbert L. “Pee Wee” Pickard, along with The Mighty Voices of Thunder male chorus of Greater New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, is planning a Memorial Tribute during the choir’s annual Moments of Meditation at 6 PM on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

This month’s Spotlight Artist: Jon Plair

February’s Spotlight Artist, Jon Plair, has recently followed up his successful debut single, I Gotta Do Better, with the beautiful worship song, More Than Yesterday. Both songs are from Jon’s album entitled Can You Imagine, recorded at Studio A in Dearborn. Kellen Brooks, Chiffon McNeal, and Pastor Rudolph Stanfield Jr. were also involved with this impressive and inspiring project.
