National Donor Sabbath
Observed two weekends before Thanksgiving, seeks to educate faith-based communities about the need for organ, eye and tissue donors.

More than 114,000 people across the United States, including more than 3,000 in Michigan are listed for an organ transplant on the national organ transplant waiting list with thousands more awaiting cornea and tissue transplants.

Faith communities across the nation will come together the weekend of November 14-16, 2014 to share the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation. This weekend offers you the perfect opportunity to share with others how donation has touched your life and to encourage them to register and to tell their families about their decision.
The Detroit MOTTEP Foundation and the Gift of Life MOTTEP cordially invite you to JOIN US as we celebrate the National Donor Sabbath by adding music to the message for the 5th Annual Sounds of Saving Lives Concert.
