This world class mini dance intensive is designed for students 13 and over who are currently at the intermediate to advanced level. These classes are NOT designed for beginners. Dancers should be proficient movement sequences, combinations and technique.
Master Teacher Kris Nobles of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy will lead technique classes in Ballet and Contemporary. Kris is highly accomplished. He has won the Tanzolymp Danz Festival in Berlin, Germany in classical ballet and was the featured dancer in Paramount Picture’s “Dance Flick”. He has also performed the title role in several productions of Debbie Allen’s iconic “Hot Chocolate Nutcracker”.
In addition to teaching classes, Mr. Nobles will choreograph an original piece that will be performed by the students during Open House on the final day of the intensive.
Classes will be held for two weeks only, Monday – Friday, 4 pm – 6 pm at Detroit School of Arts, 123 Selden Avenue in Detroit’s Midtown area starting July 26th.
