The Sound Board of the Motor City Casino Hotel, 2901 Grand River, Detroit, MI, was the setting, celebrating “The Second Annual Red Tie Affair”, hosted by Charles Pugh of Fox 2 News and Co-hosted by Rhonda Walker of WDIV News. This was a benefit concert presented by Eventful Bliss (Events with a purpose) where the proceeds went to benefit Mpowerment Detroit’s HIV/Aids Prevention Program. Live performances were given by Monica Blaire and the Grammy Award Winning Clark Sisters.

The Program’s Director Jonathan Davis was on hand along with Michael Matthews, Event Coordinator, who worked tirelessly to put together a wonderful evening filled with entertainment, food, fun and fellowship; silent auctions and donation center; a video clip giving vital information regarding the HIV/Aids prevention efforts that are provided; and, culminating with musical renditions.

If you missed this glorious evening hearing the Clark Sisters sing such favorites as “Blessed and Highly Favored” and “You Brought the Sunshine” as well as the sounds of Monica Blaire, you can still get in on the giving.
