“Sounds of the Holidays”
Brings Joy and Warmth
To Area Youth This Season

November 16, 2004…Detroit, MI Some of Detroit’s top gospel music stars will raise their voices in a special production designed to raise cheer and funds for Salvation Army Coats for Kids on December 3, 2004.

A benefit concert featuring J Moss, Byron Cage, and Jacky Clark-Chisholm takes place at the Greater Grace Temple at 7:30 pm. Greater Grace Temple is located at 23500 W. Seven Mile Rd. Detroit, Michigan 48219.

J. Moss and his strong tenor voice are known to mix gospel/soul music with hip-hop flavor. Byron Cage calls himself the Prince of Praise. Jacky Clark-Chisholm is one of the prolific singers to come out of the Clark Sisters family.

Tickets are $15 with proceeds to benefit Salvation Army Coats for Kids. They are available at all TicketMaster outlets, online, or phone at (248) 645-6666. They are also available at Greater Grace Temple and God’s World Records.

The event will be hosted by WMXD’s Frankie Darcell.

The concert is being taped as a television special entitled “Sounds of the Holidays” for broadcast on both WKBD-TV UPN50 and Channel 62 CBS Detroit. “Sounds of the Holidays” television airdates are December 18 for UPN50 and December 24 for CBS 62.

The concert is sponsored by WKBD – TV UPN 50, Channel 62 CBS Detroit, and
WJLB – FM and WMXD – FM.

Deborah Smith Pollard and Associates arranged talent coordination. The event is produced by Toby Cunningham. Live performances are produced by Michael Watts of Watts UP, Inc.
