Michigan Recording Artist Releases Contemporary Gospel Album
Michigan resident and recording artist Bishop RJ Shackleford releases a brand new album this week, titled “Homeless Praise.”Produced by Bishop RJ Shackleford and distributed by Tate Music Group, the album includes ten contemporary gospel tracks influenced by the likes of Marvin Winans and Mary Mary.
Bishop RJ Shackleford has a story that will lift the low in heart through his testimony of living on the streets of Detroit for five months alone with his and three kids.Bishop RJ Shackleford recorded his first record at five years old and began singing in the choir at the church his father pastor.Since then, he has traveled across the country and has shared the stage with the Williams Brothers, Rance Allen, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and the legendary Al Green.
Bishop RJ Shackleford currently resides in Detroit, Michigan. He has pastored for almost 20 years and is the president of a community non-profit organization that assists with youth programs and features a shelter food ministry.
