NEHEMIAH PRAYING FOR THE CITY. Why Nehemiah? Nehemiah went around his
city (Jerusalem) praying for God to restore the city. Nehemiah is the
Old Testament example of the New Testament apostle-sent-one. What is a
prayer focused meeting? Our objective is teaching on prayer and
participating in prayers that make a difference such as judicial
intercession prayers, apostle-sent-one prayers, claiming prayers,
healing prayers, requesting prayers. Each prayer will be scripturally
based.
Come join us to pray for the government and the salvation of
those in need (“I urge then first of all that prayers requests
intercessions and thanksgivings be made for everyone.” 1 Timothy 2:1).
Come join us to seek God’s face in prayer to restore our city and
neighborhoods (“If my people who are called by my name will humble
themselves and pray and seek my face then will I hear from heaven and
heal their land.” – God’s promise from 2 Chronicles 7:14).
Come join us to request God to send forth workers (“Ask the Lord of the
harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Matthew 9:37).
Come join us to be one of those workers who do the Matthew 10 prayers
to pray asking God to spiritually clean up the land and spiritually heal
where needed (“And he appointed …” Matthew 10:1)
Come join us to break
spiritual strongholds. (“And pray in the spirit on all occasions with
all kinds of requests with this in mind be alert and always keep on
praying
for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18).
Adopt a Block for Jesus & The
Luke 10 Project will also be discussed for informational purposes.

Who: God’s set-apart-followers who have a heart
to pray and spiritual maturity to “stand firm” in the spiritual battle.
Why: King Jesus is coming soon and we are praying to prepare the way.
