2010 "How Sweet the Sound-Detroit"

DetroitGospel.com was in the house for Verizon Wireless’s annual “How Sweet the Sound” choir competition Saturday, September 25, 2010, as it made its Detroit stop on the 9-city tour. The packed house was treated to a tremendous evening of praise and song. Celebrity judges for the evening were Marvin Sapp, Hezekiah Walker and Kurt Carr. The tour hosts were Donald Lawrence and Detroit’s own CeCe Winans. The night was capped off with the announcement of Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound Regional Overall Winner – Burning Bush International Ministries Mass Choir performing “Stir Up the Gift.” Look for them in the How Sweet the Sound Grand Finale on November 13 in Washington, DC!
