The UGI Awards will take place during the Love Fellowship Conference in Los Angeles, CA, June 29, 2005. Annual PraiseFest In Jeopardy - Detroit Free Press music writer, Kelley L. Carter, reported in the Saturday, May 7, 2005, edition that the PraiseFest held annually in Hart Plaza is in jeopardy of being cancelled due to lack of financial support. Mike Watts, one of the PraiseFest's producers, noted that the budget to put on the festival is $200,000, and with only $100,000 raised, the dates for what would have been the 14th annual PraiseFest (June 10-12) have been returned to Hart Plaza.
